Parkside Cosmetic and Family Dentistry offers a full range of
services for the entire family from children's dentistry to the
latest cosmetic procedures. Dr. Walsh invites everyone to stop
by and see his new state-of-the-art facility complete with digital
x-rays, laser cavity detection, intraoral cameras, and dental
operating microscopes.
Dr. Walsh is originally from Orangeburg. He attended The College
of Charleston in Charleston,SC as an undergraduate. After graduating
with a degree in biology, he attended the Medical University of
South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine, which is also located
in Charleston, where he awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine
degree.
Upon graduating dental school, Dr. Walsh started a three year
tour with the United States Air Force, where he attended a Advanced
Education in General Dentistry at Scott AFB, IL. In this program,
Dr. Walsh learned and perfected advanced techniques in all areas
of dentistry from preventive, restorative, and cosmetic procedures
to advanced surgical techniques. After residency training, Dr.
Walsh served as a General Dental Officer at Charleston AFB in
Charleston, SC. Before leaving Charleston,  Dr.
Walsh received the Air Force Commendation Medal for meritorious
service while at Charleston AFB.
Dr. Walsh has been on the faculty at the Medical College of Georgia,
teaching clinical dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental
Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, and the Academy
of General Dentistry.
When not at his practice, Dr. Walsh enjoys NASCAR, University
of South Carolina sports, hunting, and spending time with his
family. Dr. Walsh is married to Elisa Richardson of Sumter, SC.
Dr Walsh has two sons, Trip and Preston.
